Estimator

Are you the type of person who likes to see a project through from concept to completion? Do you like to work in a fast-paced environment where collaboration and teamwork are critical and being prepared for any curveball to come your way is paramount? This position will require you to work with standardized proven processes and to collaborate daily across departments. As an integral part of our process, you’ll be responsible for reviewing estimate requests, architectural drawings, and specifications.

Main Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate product takeoffs from architectural drawings and specifications
• Work with vendors and field installers to obtain their pricing required for a complete quote
• Prepare and submit bid proposal to general contractor(s)

Key Qualifications:

• 2 – 5 years minimum commercial millwork related experience
• Positive team player with strong work ethic
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Proven ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications
• Knowledge of all trades, especially finish carpentry and millwork
• Experience using computer based estimating programs a plus (INNERGY or similar platforms)
