My career in architectural millwork began over 40 years ago. Growing-up, I always had a passion for building and problem solving. I started my career path at a young age at Ralph Iaccarino and Sons. There I continued to grow and gain knowledge of the industry. Four decades later, my hard work and focus has paid off and I hold the position of Vice President of a multi-million-dollar company.
My day-to-day duties include daily contact with the estimating, engineering and project management teams, overseeing production in the shop, as well as controlling most of the purchasing and pricing. With all these moving parts, what is most valuable to me is that we work as a team. If one person or department needs help, we are all willing to pitch-in and help each other succeed. We are very proactive with all our projects and strive to produce premium quality craftmanship. Most important of all is our commitment to building and maintaining strong communication lines between Continental and the client. The projects I am most proud of include Gotham Market, NYU and Mt. Sinai Hospital.
Outside the office, my most rewarding accomplishment has been raising two beautiful and talented daughters with my lovely wife of 45 years. Now, we have five amazing grandchildren we are watching grow and develop into fine young adults, two of whom I love to golf with! We all enjoy family vacations together.
One thing is for sure; I am still working hard and my work ethics have never changed!
