We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with a strong background in commercial architectural millwork to lead projects from award through final installation and closeout. 

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands the unique demands of millwork manufacturing and installation and can confidently manage the details, relationships, schedules, and financial performance of projects ranging from $50,000 to $3M+.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and problem solver who can serve as the primary connection between the client or general contractor and our internal estimating, engineering, manufacturing, and installation teams. You understand how decisions made during estimating, engineering, and submittals ultimately impact production, schedule, cost, and installation—and you know how to keep all of those pieces moving together.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, general contractors, architects, and project stakeholders from project award through completion.

• Take ownership of the overall execution and success of each project, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, communication, and client satisfaction.

• Coordinate closely with estimators, CAD engineers, production, purchasing, shipping department, and field installation teams to ensure projects move efficiently from contract through fabrication and installation.

• Review project scope, contracts, drawings, specifications, schedules, and budgets to establish clear project requirements and expectations.

• Manage the submittal and approval process, coordinating with engineering and clients/GCs to keep approvals on schedule.

• Develop and maintain project schedules, identifying critical milestones and potential delays before they impact production or installation.

• Coordinate material procurement, production scheduling, delivery, and installation activities.

• Conduct or participate in site visits, pre-installation meetings, contractor meetings, and project coordination meetings.

• Proactively identify and resolve design, scope, scheduling, field, and constructability issues.

• Manage project changes, including change orders, additional work, credits, and scope adjustments, ensuring appropriate documentation and client approval.

• Monitor project financial performance, including job costs, commitments, billing, and overall project profitability.

• Maintain clear and timely project documentation and communication throughout the project lifecycle.

• Coordinate closely with field personnel and installation partners to ensure successful execution onsite.

• Manage project closeout, including punch lists, final documentation, outstanding billing, and client acceptance.

• Build strong, long-term relationships with clients, general contractors, architects, and subcontractors.

• Maintain a high level of professionalism and responsiveness while representing Continental Woodcraft throughout the project.

 Qualifications & Experience

• 6+ years of project management experience within commercial architectural millwork, casework, or a closely related manufacturing environment.

• Direct experience managing custom commercial millwork projects from award through fabrication and installation is strongly preferred.

• Strong understanding of architectural millwork construction, materials, fabrication, finishing, hardware, installation, and field conditions.

• Proven ability to read and interpret architectural plans, specifications, elevations, details, and schedules.

• Experience working directly with general contractors, architects, designers, and subcontractors.

• Demonstrated experience managing projects with budgets of $500K–$3M+ is highly desirable.

• Strong understanding of project financials, budgets, change orders, billing, and job profitability.

• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities.

• Ability to make sound decisions quickly and confidently in a fast-paced construction and manufacturing environment.

• Proficiency with project management and construction-related software; experience with INNERGY is a plus.

We are looking for an experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate understands commercial millwork, can confidently interpret architectural drawings and specifications, and has the ability to develop accurate, competitive bids from project documents.

This is a collaborative role working closely with our project management, engineering, production, purchasing, vendors, and field installation teams to ensure our estimates accurately reflect the scope and requirements of each project.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, finish schedules, elevations, details, and related project documents.

• Prepare accurate and detailed material and labor takeoffs for commercial architectural millwork and casework.

• Develop comprehensive project estimates based on project scope, drawings, specifications, and bid requirements.

• Utilize INNERGY to develop and manage estimates.

• Identify materials, hardware, finishes, fabrication requirements, installation requirements, and other costs necessary to produce a complete and accurate estimate.

• Obtain and evaluate pricing from material vendors, subcontractors, specialty fabricators, and field installation partners.

• Coordinate with vendors and field installers to ensure all required costs are captured in the estimate.

• Identify scope gaps, discrepancies, exclusions, and potential project risks during the estimating process.

• Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and other internal teams to clarify scope and develop accurate project pricing.

• Prepare and submit professional bid proposals to general contractors in accordance with project requirements and deadlines.

• Maintain accurate estimating records and supporting documentation.

• Assist with post-bid reviews, scope clarifications, and revisions as needed.

• Manage multiple estimates and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Stay current on material pricing, manufacturing methods, labor requirements, and industry trends that may impact project costs.

Qualifications & Experience

• 2+ years of commercial architectural millwork estimating experience preferred.

• Strong understanding of commercial millwork and casework, including materials, construction methods, fabrication, finishing, hardware, and installation.

• Proven ability to read and interpret architectural plans, specifications, elevations, sections, details, and schedules.

• Experience preparing detailed takeoffs and estimates for custom commercial millwork projects.

• Strong understanding of the relationship between design, fabrication, installation, labor, and material costs.

• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, are required.

• Experience with computer-based estimating, takeoff, or ERP systems is strongly preferred.

• Experience with INNERGY, Bluebeam, Autodesk Takeoff, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar platforms is a plus.

• Ability to work with vendors and subcontractors to obtain accurate and timely pricing.

• Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.

We are looking for a Senior CAD Engineer to join our collaborative team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in commercial architectural millwork who enjoys working through the details, solving problems, and collaborating with estimators, project managers, production, and field teams to bring complex designs from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize AutoCAD and Microvellum to develop highly detailed, accurate, and fabrication-ready manufacturing shop drawings from architectural plans, specifications, and design documents.

• Interpret architectural drawings and specifications and translate design intent into practical, manufacturable millwork solutions.

• Develop detailed shop drawings, construction drawings, assembly drawings, elevations, sections, details, and related documentation required for production.

• Create and maintain accurate 2D and 3D models using AutoCAD and Microvellum.

• Work closely with estimators, project managers, production personnel, and field teams throughout the project lifecycle.

• Identify potential design, constructability, material, and installation issues early and work collaboratively to develop solutions.

• Coordinate drawings with architectural requirements, field conditions, hardware, materials, and other trades as needed.

• Incorporate project revisions and maintain accurate drawing sets throughout the production process.

• Support the transition of projects from estimating and design through manufacturing, assembly, and installation.

• Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure drawings accurately reflect project requirements and can be efficiently executed in the shop.

• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while managing multiple projects and deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in commercial architectural millwork, casework, or a related manufacturing environment.

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Microvellum.

• Proven ability to create detailed and precise manufacturing/shop drawings from architectural plans and specifications.

• Strong understanding of architectural millwork construction, woodworking materials, hardware, joinery, and manufacturing methods.

• Ability to read, interpret, and understand architectural plans, elevations, sections, details, and specifications.

• Understanding of how millwork is constructed, fabricated, assembled, and installed.

• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with the ability to identify constructability issues and develop practical solutions.

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with project managers, estimators, production teams, and field personnel.

• Ability to manage priorities and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsible for constructing cabinets and applying appropriate finishes, selecting the appropriate materials, fittings, and tools for each task and cutting resources down to size, as needed. Journeyman certification is not required for this position.
